The use of the Company’s web page and services by the visitor/user requires his/her unreserved acceptance of the following terms of use, which apply to the entire content included in its web page. Thus, the visitor/user must read carefully these terms of use before the use of the website and if he/she does not agree, he/she must not make use of the services and their content. The visitor/user is advised to review the content of the terms of use for any potential changes.



The web page www.papoutsanis.gr includes the “e-shop HOTEL AMENITIES” of the company with the corporate name “PAPOUTSANIS S.A.” (TIN 094011512, TAX OFFICE OF HALKIDA, GEMI No.  121914222000, TEL: 2262085000 email: info@papoutsanis.gr) (the “Company”) which operates in the field of cosmetics and soap production. Its established purpose is to provide the best possible service to its clients. This e-shop gives our clients and all internet users who carry out professional activities the possibility to be informed directly about the products offered by our Company and perform their purchases on-line.

The entire design of the website and the e-shop, the text, the graphics, the selection and settings thereof, are proprietary to the Company and all industrial rights and copyright belong to the Company. Reserving all rights, each text or image bearing the Company’s symbols is a trademark or distinctive sign and is lawfully used herein.

The web page uses SSL protocol for secure on-line commercial transactions. In this manner all your personal information, such as your credit card number, your name and address, is protected so that it can not be read or changed during its transfer via the Internet. SSL certificate has been issued by the pioneer certification company VeriSign. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol is nowadays the global on-line standard for the certification of websites towards web users and the encryption of data among web users and web servers. An encrypted SSL communication requires the encryption of all information dispatched between a client and a server by the dispatch software and its decryption by the acceptance software, thus protecting personal information during transfer. The products which are available for sale, their characteristics and price are posted on the website and they can be generally accessed. For further details on each product the users can click on the product icon. The company makes all reasonable endeavours on a daily basis to provide all required information for each product (characteristics, prices, availability etc.). However, in order to limit any potential errors, we would advise you to contact us prior to any purchase completion in case that the prices or any other product characteristics are unusual and unreasonable. The prices stated in the relevant lists do not include VAT (6% or 24%), while the e-shop reserves its right to adjust prices without being required to inform the consumer public.



The deliveries via the e-shop constitute remote sales contracts which are governed by the statutory frame of Law 2251/1994 (as currently in force), the amendments mentioned in the Presidential Decree 131/2003 (Government Gazette issue Α 116/16.05.2003) and decision 31619 Government Gazette 969/22.3.2017.

The user has the right to place a valid order via the e-shop, provided that he/she has legal capacity by observing the provisions of the Greek Civil Code (provided that he/she is over eighteen years old and not under guardianship as regards the conclusion of the sale). Orders can also be placed by legal representatives of legal entities. The company reserves its right to claim return of any orders placed by legally incapacitated persons from their guardian or custodian.



You have the right to return all or part of your order without being required to notify us of the reason you wish to return the products, within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt, subject to certain conditions (available here: Returns < CLIENT SERVICES | Papoutsanis) In this case you are only burdened with the direct return cost of the products. In the case that the reason for return is a Company’s error we undertake the return cost of the product, under the condition that the return has been effected via SPEEDEX courier.

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal you shall follow the procedure described in our web page.



  • Force majeure: If due to force majeure (e.g., poor weather conditions, strikes etc.) we are not able to deliver your order within the pre-set time period we will notify you to this end, so that you can state us whether you wish that your order be completed under these circumstances or not. The Company shall not be liable for any condition which lies beyond the limits of its liability and will make all reasonable endeavours to better serve you.
  • In the cases that you have placed an on-line order and upon receipt you find out that a product/certain products are missing, please contact us, in order to make all necessary arrangements and dispatch to you the undelivered products at no further cost, under the condition that upon receipt the client has signed the delivery slip. In the case that the receipt with the identification of the products against the delivery slip of the Company, the client will be able to receive the products with reservation, by recording a relevant note on the delivery slip. Any customer complaint for a defective delivery and any request for the issuance of a credit invoice by the Company shall be submitted within 10 calendar days.
  • Modification of the terms hereof: We retain the right to modify or renew these transaction terms and conditions. The Company also assumes the obligation to update this text in case of changes or additions to the terms.
  • In the case that you do not receive the ordered items (and if an unreasonably long time period has passed since the placement of the order) please contact our web page contact person. For your better and prompt service we would advise you to mention the special order code sent to the e-mail address that you stated during your order.
  • Directive 2013/11/EC, which has been transposed into Greek legislation with Joint Ministerial Decision 70330/2015 and Decision 31619 Government Gazette 969/22.3.2017 (article 8), provides for the option of on-line consumer dispute resolution with the Alternative Dispute Resolution throughout the European Union.
